Watch first look of Kong Skull Island revealed at the MTV Movie Awards

King Kong
The first glimpse of Kong: Skull Island was released at the MTV Movie Awards along with Captain America: Civil War, Suicide Squad, and Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. The film begins in 1970s Detroit when a team of explorers plan to venture into the home of the king of the apes to locate the brother of their leader, and search for a mythical serum while facing plenty of dangers like giant snakes and other creatures along the way.

The expedition will be led by actor Tom Hiddleston, who plays the role of a former British Special Air Service officer. The movie will be a back story for King Kong, ahead of the giant ape's appearance in Godzilla Vs Kong – which will release in 2020 – but before that Godzilla 2 will lead up to the epic battle of the giants in 2018.
The latest King Kong movie comes after a gap of 12 years, following director Peter Jackson's 2005 installment. Kong: Skull Island has been scripted by John Gatins and Max Borenstein, while Jordan Vogt-Roberts is the director. The producers of the movie are John Jashni, Thomas Tull and Mary Parent.
The cast of the film includes Samuel L Jackson, John Goodman, John Ortiz, Jing Tian, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, Brie Larson, Shea Whigham and Toby Kebbell.
Kong: Skull Island will hit theatres in the US on 10 March 2017.
