World Health Day 2016: Top 10 health quotes to share by famous scientists and personalities

World Health Day is celebrated globally on 7 April. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has been celebrating the day since 1950, in hopes of creating and promoting awareness about the importance of mental, physical and emotional health.

WHO decides on a particular theme each year, which is based on the most prevalent issue in relation with current public health concerns. This year the theme is diabetes. According to WHO, in 2012, almost 1.5 million deaths across the globe were "directly caused by diabetes".
In efforts to help highlight and promote the importance of good health, IBTimes UK has compiled a list of quotes by famous scientists and personalities.
